Section 8

What is the difference between Section 8 and   public housing?

Public housing is property owned by the Housing Authority and Section 8 property is owned by a private landlord.

We provide housing to our  tenants. We have seven family courts, and one senior citizen only high rise for 55 years or older. Rent is based on 30% of annual income. We don't provide emergency housing. The waiting list is 6 months to 2 years. We check backgrounds; criminal, credit, landlords, schools, income verifications, for low-rent and section 8.
